ACCOUNTYour Dashboard is divided into two columns. In the first you will find the drafts of your projects and below the finished projects ready to be sorted and reordered.
In the second column, instead, you will find the drafts of your orders and the orders placed with the status and all the details about your orders.
Your prototypes will be assembled in our fully automated line, screen printing via My500 and assembly on state-of-the-art Pick and Place machines for technologically advanced and high quality assembly.
All the cards go through optical inspection and in the case of BGA, LGA and QFN will be viewed with X-RAY control
It is possible to download the example BOM file on the page of the BOM upload.
In any case it is possible to upload the BOM with any formatting, subsequently it is necessary to indicates which column refers to the necessary information.
It is possible to create the BOM with our tool which will properly format the file to be imported. There is also the possibility of adding or removing components and modifying each field for each component even after loading its own BOM.
We prototype reserves the right to purchase an adequate number of additional components for SMD resistors and capacitors only. This mechanism is aimed at the correct loading on the assembly machine and to guarantee a quick and quality assembly, including any scraps during assembly.
All the resistors and advanced capacitors will be returned with the boards produced to the customer for possible experiments and / or own repairs.
It is necessary to load the BOM in Excel .xls format respecting the important informations for the research, taking care to put the following informations in the column
● Drawing Reference
● Manufacture Partnumber
● Technology
● SMD case
● Quantity
If a component is not found automatically you have more possibilities
● Modify the single partnumber and the quantity by repeating the search for that code with simplicity and extreme flexibility
● Selecting "I will send the component" and then providing the component in question if you have availability or ease in finding it.
● Decide not to mount it
The Premium Warehouse is a digital stock management module available to company accounts. It lets you:
• Maintain a catalogue of your electronic components with quantities and prices
• Import/export the catalogue via Excel
• Configure Re-Order Points (ROP) to receive automatic email alerts when stock falls below a critical threshold
• Integrate with external ERP systems via API
• Make components available directly during the BOM analysis phase, reducing sourcing costs
Contact WEP to activate this feature on your account.
Go to Company in the sidebar, scroll to the Company Members section and click Invite Member. Enter the colleague's email address. They will receive an activation email with a link to set their password and access the platform under your company account.
The warehouse access is controlled by two separate permissions in the member's Access Policy:
View Warehouse — must be enabled for the member to see the component catalogue.
Download Warehouse — must be enabled to export the catalogue as an Excel file.
To update: go to the member's profile → Edit Policy → enable the relevant toggles → Update Permissions.
To develop the PicK and Place editing program it is necessary
to import the CAD files of the board. Alternatively, file coordinates with the
extension: .txt, .csv, .xls, .pkp, .mnt. with within them:
● XY coordinates
● Drawing Reference
● Orientation of the components
However, we recommend using the CAD file in order to guarantee a faster development time.
After receiving the files our technicians will verify that the gerbers do not present inconsistencies with the bom and that all the files are compatible with the automatic mounting systems.
To send your PCB files please use the following formats:
● Gerber data format: RS-274X (extended format with open table incorporated);
● Drill data format: Excellon or Sieb & Mayer 3000 (with package tool released).
Yes, all the files we receive are displayed and analyzed by expert technicians
Go to My Orders, expand the order you need and click Download Invoice. The PDF invoice is generated automatically and includes all order details.
For electronic invoicing, make sure your VAT number and SDI code are correctly entered in your Company profile before placing the order.
The platform supports two payment methods:
Credit/debit card — payment is processed securely via PayPal. The order moves to production immediately after confirmation.
Bank transfer — after order placement you receive the bank details. Production starts once the transfer is credited (usually 1–2 business days).
During the order process, on the Order Summary page you will find a Discount Code field. Enter your code and click Apply — the discount is deducted from the total immediately. Each code is single-use and personal.
Delivery times depend on component availability, PCB configuration and the selected shipping option. An estimated delivery date is shown in the order summary before you confirm.
As a guide: standard prototypes with available components are typically ready within 10–15 business days from payment confirmation. Complex configurations or components with long lead times may take longer — the platform shows updated estimates in real time.
Orders in Waiting Payment status can be cancelled. Once production starts (On Working) it is no longer possible to make changes.
If you have an urgent need, contact WEP support immediately via email or phone. The sooner you get in touch, the better the chances of making adjustments before components are sourced.
The total cost is reimbursed if the availability of the components change during the technical validation of the files. The customer can re-order the project by making the appropriate choices regarding the missing components.
After the re-order, the technical verification phase, if the assembly files are not modified, will be considered already executed and the order of the components it will be immediate to avoid the problem that occurred previously again
You can use PayPal, credit card or bank transfer.
An invoice will then be issued attached to the order you will receive.
Attention: In the case of bank transfer we will proceed to purchase the components only after having read the payment receipt. Spending a certain amount of time some components may no longer be available, you will be contacted to choose how to proceed
When you pay for your purchase, the availability of the components will be checked again, only after the validation of the files by our technicians will we take the amount.

Click the download icon in the project row. A panel opens listing all available files: BOM (CSV), Gerber, CAD and topographic images. You can download them individually or click Download All (.zip) to get everything in one compressed archive.
Yes. In My Projects click the pencil icon next to the project. You can update the name, revision number and tags (comma-separated labels used to categorise and quickly filter projects). Click Save to confirm.
There are three options:
1. Replace the part number — edit the BOM row and enter an equivalent component available from our distributors.
2. Sent by Me — flag the component as one you will ship directly to WEP. You will receive shipping instructions after order confirmation.
3. Skip it — if the component is not critical for the prototype, you can proceed without it and add it later.
The platform accepts Excel (.xlsx) and CSV files. Column headers are recognised automatically regardless of order: Part Number (or MPN, Codice…), Quantity (or Qty, Q.ty…), Designator (or Ref Des, Reference…), Technology and Package.
Download the official template from the upload page to make sure the format is correct before importing.
A Personal account is designed for individual professionals: it gives access to projects, orders and discount codes.
A Company account adds multi-user management (invite team members, set granular permissions for each one), a shared company profile used for electronic invoicing, and optionally the Premium Warehouse for digital stock management.
On the login page click Forgot password?. Enter your registered email address and you will receive a reset link within a few minutes. Click the link, set a new password and you are back in. If the email does not arrive, check your spam folder.
Registration is free and takes less than two minutes. Click Register in the top navigation bar, fill in your first name, last name, email address and password, then confirm your email via the activation link you will receive. On your first login the platform will ask you to choose between a Personal or Company account and to enter your tax information.
After the order We protorype reserves 2 days to make the technical checks on the files uploaded by the customer and then confirm and send the project to production.
3 more days for the delivery of the components and up to 14 days for the PCBs
The delivery time takes into account all the project management and processing phases.
The analysis of the files and the approval of the project by our technicians, the procurement of the components, the construction of the printed circuit, the serigraphy, the SMD assembly, the soldering in remelting furnace and the completion by hand.
Once in production you can track the entire flow and receive your order in 7/9 days
All the electronic boards will be packed in special ESD bags and entrusted to DHL who will deliver to the delivery address indicated by you at the time of registration or to a new address indicated during the order.
Go to your profile menu (top right) → Setup 2FA. Open an authenticator app on your smartphone (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator or Authy) and scan the QR code shown on screen. The app will add your WEP account and display a 6-digit code. Enter it in the verification field and click Activate. From that moment, every login will require the code from your app.
If you no longer have access to your authenticator app, contact WEP support by sending a written request from your registered email address. The team will verify your identity and reset the 2FA on your account. For security reasons this cannot be done automatically.
